New Studio

New Studio

I have now settled into my beautiful new studio at the bottom of my garden at home. It’s been a long process from knocking down the existing shed to flattening the ground and having the shed built.

I think the chore that has been most painstaking was the painting! So many layers of paint inside and out – I’m still not finished but it’s up and running!

The Shed was provided and built by the team at Elcombe Stoves on Bath Road – they also installed a lovely Esse wood burner to keep me and the cat warm and all my papers dry. They offer finance for projects like this – thank goodness!

It’s a peaceful, space with large glass windows and doors so I get lots of light – the floor is painted white and I wonder how long it will stay that way?
